Annotating the screenshot

An arrow, a box, or a blur — when a sentence needs a finger.

Every Jot carries a screenshot. When the problem is "this, next to that", draw on it.

  1. In the composer, press Annotate on the screenshot thumbnail.
  2. Pick a tool:
    • Arrow — point at something.
    • Box — outline an area.
    • Blur — hide anything you'd rather not share.
  3. Press Done. The count on the button tells you how many marks you made.

Undo takes back the last mark; Clear removes them all; Cancel leaves the screenshot as it was.

Areas Jot has already hidden for you — form fields and private elements — are marked auto-masked. You can't unmask them; that is on purpose.
