> A 6-digit code, typed straight into the widget.

Some projects are for invited people only. On those, Jot asks you to sign in
before you can leave a Jot. There's no password and no link to click — you
never leave the page.

<Steps>
  <Step>
    ### Enter your work email

    Type the email you were invited with and press **Email me a code**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Type the code

    Jot emails you a 6-digit code. Type it into the widget and press **Sign in**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Codes expire after 10 minutes and stop working after 5 wrong attempts. No
email? Press **Resend code**, or **Different email** if you typed the wrong one.

If the project has Google sign-in turned on, **Continue with Google** appears
as well.

## "You have not been invited to this project"

Jot only lets in people who are part of the team's workspace. Ask whoever sent
you the page to invite the exact address you typed, and to make sure you
accepted the invitation.

## Team members on public pages

On projects open to anyone, you can still sign in: choose
**I'm a team member — sign in**. You keep your name on your Jots, see every pin
on the page, and can @-mention teammates.

**Sign out** is in the dock.
