# Microsoft Teams

> Announce new Jots in a channel, with status changes threaded underneath.

<Callout>
  Notifications are available on the Team and Agency plans.
</Callout>

Teams is where people hear about Jots, not where they are tracked. A project can
have an issue tracker and a Teams channel at the same time.

<Steps>
  <Step>
    ### Connect your workspace

    A workspace admin opens **Settings → Integrations** and presses
    **Connect Microsoft Teams**. Approve access with your Microsoft account; the
    card shows **● connected**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Pick a channel

    In the project, open **Integrations → Notifications**. Choose a team, then a
    channel, and press **Save**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What happens

* Each new Jot posts a card in the channel: the sentence, who reported it, the
  environment, the screenshot, and a link straight to it.
* Status changes arrive as short replies under that card — "Resolved by …",
  "Approved by the reporter" — so the channel reads as a history, not a
  firehose.
* If the channel can't be reached, the Jot is still saved. Announcements never
  block a report.
