    **● connected**.

    ### Point a project at a repository

    In the project, open **Integrations → Issue tracker**, choose a repository, and
    press **Link**.

</Steps>

A project files into one tracker at a time.

## What happens

* **File issue** on any Jot opens a GitHub issue with the sentence, the page
  URL, the selector, and a link back to the Jot.
* The Jot shows the issue's live state. When the issue is closed, Jot asks the
  reporter, on their thread, whether that fixes it.
* Status changes you make in Jot stay in Jot — GitHub issues are not reopened or
  closed from here.
